DR. TED WEDELL

Dr. Wedell is the founder of Kirkland Chiropractic and has a passion for serving his patients and helping them lead happy and healthy lives. He is a native of California and moved to Washington to attend the University of Washington to study Chemistry.  Dr. Wedell also attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated summa cum laude. He later earned his doctorate degree in chiropractic and went on to work at Kaufaman Chiropractic Clinic for 20 years where he worked with families and athletes. While there, he also became a functional medicine practitioner and a diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition (DACBN), a post-doctoral program of nutrition that requires over 300 logged hours at a Chiropractic institution; he specialized in treatment of Autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Wedell has been married to his wife, Tamara, for 25 years and has a son named Wyatt who is now 22 years old. An athlete at heart, he has always been active in sports and played professional rugby, semi-pro football, and men’s basketball.  Dr. Wedell loves spending time with his family and attending church. In his spare time, he also enjoys coaching football, hiking, trail running, spending time in his garden, and grilling meat.
